The internal architecture of an AEP is based on a proprietary mini-gearbox powered by a battery, eliminating the constraints associated with CO2 or Green Gas. To optimize trigger response, installing a 7.4V LiPo battery via a micro-MOSFET is a standard modification on the Cyma CM.127 or CM.131 series. Unlike GBB models, these pistols operate in Semi and Full Auto modes, offering superior tactical versatility in urban environments. Although power is limited to 0.5 joules for safety at close range, accuracy is stabilized by an adjustable hop-up unit. The range extends from rugged NBB (Non-Blowback) versions to premium Tokyo Marui models known for their mechanical durability. Opting for electric power ensures a handgun replica that is operational year-round, completely immune to the cooldown phenomenon, and easy to reload in the field without carrying gas consumables.
