An essential part of Sig Sauer SP2022 airsoft CO2 chargers, the clamping plug holds and impacts the CO2 cartridge in the charger.

Description

The CO2 cap for SP2022 chargers (also known as the clamping screw or CO2 cap) is the part located at the base of the charger that :

hold the CO2 cartridge in place
ensure percussion and sealing
guarantee optimal charger operation

Compatible with SP2022 CO2 magazines (KWC / Cybergun)
Essential part of the CO2 system
Easy replacement in case of wear or loss

On this type of magazine, the CO2 system operates via a clamping screw at the base which compresses and pierces the 12g cartridge.

"It's a small but critical part: without it, it's impossible to pressurize the CO2.

The problem is that these plugs are rarely available on their own from manufacturers. In 80% of cases, you have to go for recovery or a complete charger.

Tip: always grease the gasket and don't force it when tightening, to avoid premature wear."
