The essential part for restoring the seal on your paintball launcher.
Compatible with Tippmann 98, A5 and Valken SW-1 standards for immediate repair.
This is a classic but crucial part! Without the Cup Seal, it's impossible to maintain air pressure.
An air leak in the barrel, at the valve... that's the problem!
The Cup Seal acts as a sealing valve. When at rest, it blocks the air supply. When you pull the trigger, the hammer strikes the Cup Seal stem, briefly releasing the air needed to propel the ball.
Although listed for the Valken SW-1, this is a "standard" part for many paintball launchers. It is often found on models such as Tippmann (98, Sierra One, Bravo One) or BT-4.
If you hear a continuous hissing sound (air leakage) in the barrel when you're not firing, it's almost always the Cup Seal that's marked or dirty.
It's a wearing part. Never force it when cleaning. A simple spot of silicone grease is generally sufficient.
"If you change this part, always check the condition of the valve spring just behind it. If it's compressed, your new Cup Seal may not close properly, causing an immediate leak even with a new part."
